I was dreaming of this quote when I woke up at 6 o’clock this morning and now I can’t go to sleep because I want to watch the movie so badly. So that’s exactly what I’m doing. I could be getting extra studying done for my Astronomy final, but I’d rather watch How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Typical.
I guarantee the next time I fall in love, I won’t make the same mistake.

I’m not excited because I think something is actually going to happen. I mean, it may work, it might fall apart, or nothing might happen at all, but what makes me excited is the movement. Or even the potential of movement.
For a while my life has felt so motionless. Like I’m standing in a creek full of stagnant water just sitting around and enjoying the scenery. Not particularly happy, not particularly sad. But now the water is moving, even if it’s just a little bit, it is pushing things around. I’m beginning to feel things and opening my mind up to the possibilities. It’s too early to know if the current is going to carry be backward or forward, but for now, it’s nice to have movement again.
